About Joe

Joe Jeter is the Business Development Partner for Business One Consulting. This firm specializes in process and strategy development for leading telecommunications service providers.

Prior to his appointment to this role, Mr. Jeter was the Vice President and Managing Partner of Unisys Infrastructure Transformation Services Practice, based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania at Unisys global headquarters. Mr. Jeter oversaw portfolio development, sales and delivery for IT infrastructure with management responsibility for over 800 consultants and business development professionals. In addition, he created the Public Safety Outsourcing and the Mobility Managed Services Practices focusing on Municipal Video Surveillance. He also managed Unisys Security Solutions Worldwide. Under his leadership, the Unisys Security Leadership Institute was developed. This organization was a think tank for the integration between IT and Physical Security. The organization contained selected thought leaders representing business, government and academic perspectives on security convergence. The foundational work on the “Trusted Enterprise” was created by the Institute.

Before his tenure with Unisys, Mr. Jeter was Vice President of North American Operations at Network Programs, a company specializing in telecommunications operations support systems and IP call center software development. He also spent 13 years at Bell Atlantic (Verizon Telecom), in roles ranging from network engineering to international business development. Several years of his tenure with Bell Atlantic were spent as the General Manager of a communication infrastructure venture in Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Jeter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Analysis and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Taylor University in Indiana. In addition, he is one the founding advisory board members of the Responsible Information Management Council.
